Meet Dr. Gail Chester
Dr. Gail Chester is a licensed psychologist with more than 30 years of experience helping individuals, couples, families, and organizations navigate change, healing, and personal growth. Her work is grounded in compassion, collaboration, and practical strategies that foster lasting emotional well-being and resilience.
In addition to her private practice, Dr. Chester serves as the Clinical and Training Director at Redeem Recovery Centers, where she helps guide clinical programming and supports individuals on their recovery journeys. She is also the President of Collaborative Law Dallas, promoting respectful, non-adversarial approaches to divorce, family transitions, and conflict resolution.
Her passion is helping people move forward with greater clarity, confidence, dignity, and purpose—whether they are facing personal challenges, relationship difficulties, life transitions, or professional obstacles.
My Approach
Therapy is a partnership.
Dr. Chester works collaboratively with clients to identify meaningful goals, create practical action steps, and measure progress along the way. Sessions are active and solution-focused, often incorporating manageable exercises and reflections between appointments to maximize growth and lasting change.
Her goal is to help clients build resilience, strengthen relationships, improve emotional well-being, and create lives that are both meaningful and fulfilling.
Clients often describe Dr. Chester as warm, caring, genuine, and engaging. Many report that therapy feels supportive, encouraging, and even enjoyable. Much of her practice comes through referrals from former and current clients who have experienced positive change and want others to benefit from the same process.
A Commitment to Growth
Dr. Chester believes that every person has an inherent desire to grow and thrive. We want the best for ourselves, our children, our relationships, our careers, and our lives.
It is her privilege to walk alongside clients as they work toward meaningful, measurable change. For more than three decades, she has successfully helped individuals and families create lasting improvements that lead to greater fulfillment, stronger relationships, and a deeper sense of well-being.
